Pro signing FAQ
How is this different from the free install?
The free install uses a shared community certificate that Apple revokes within days. Pro signs your build with a real developer certificate tied to your device, so it stays valid for a full year. Same app — very different lifespan.
Is this safe? Do you need my Apple ID password?
No. We never ask for your Apple ID password, and you never hand us your account. All we need is your device UDID, which cannot be used to log into anything. The signing happens on our side with our own certificate.
What is a UDID and how do I get it?
It is your device's unique identifier — a long string of letters and numbers. After you order we send a one-tap link that reveals it. It contains no personal information and cannot access your accounts.
How long does it take?
Usually within 24 hours of receiving your UDID. Most orders are done much faster.
How many devices does one purchase cover?
One purchase signs Relaxin for one device for a year. A single certificate can hold 100 devices per certificate, so if you have more than one phone, ask us about a bundle.
What if it stops working before the year is up?
In the rare event Apple revokes the certificate early, we re-sign you at no charge for the period you paid for. That is the whole point of Pro over the free cert.
Is this official Relaxin?
No. We are an independent community service. We did not build Relaxin and we are not affiliated with Apple. We simply sign the public build so it lasts. See the about page.
