RootHide bundled in
Jailbreak detection in banking and streaming apps is handled by the included RootHide layer, with a per-app allow list you control.

Installs from the phone alone
It is a plain IPA. Sign it in Safari with Lightning Sign or ZeeSigner and you never open a laptop.

Open Settings → General → About and compare the Model Name and Software Version lines. If either falls outside the ranges below, Relaxin will install but will not jailbreak.

Do not update
Apple stopped signing iOS 17.3.1 long ago, so there is no way back down if you take an update. Turn off automatic updates in Settings → General → Software Update → Automatic Updates before you start.

Relaxin is distributed as an unsigned IPA. Signing writes your own Apple ID certificate into it so iOS will let it launch. Any of these three does the job.

Confirm you are on 17.0 – 17.3.1
A15 chip or newer. Anything else stops here — and turn off automatic updates while you are in Settings.

Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, tap your Apple ID, tap Trust.

Open Relaxin, tap Options, jailbreak
The bootstrap installs, the device resprings, and Sileo, Filza and RootHide appear on your home screen.
After every reboot
Relaxin is semi-untethered. Reopen the app and tap the jailbreak option again — your tweaks and packages are still installed, they are simply inactive until you do.

Relaxin FAQ
Which iPhones and iPads can run Relaxin?
iOS and iPadOS 17.0 through 17.3.1 on A15 Bionic silicon or newer: the iPhone 13 family, iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, the whole iPhone 15 line, iPhone SE (3rd generation), and iPads on A15, M1 or M2. Devices on iOS 17.4 or later are patched and cannot be jailbroken with this tool.
Do I need a computer to install Relaxin?
No. Because Relaxin ships as an IPA, any signing service works. Lightning Sign and ZeeSigner run in mobile Safari, so the phone signs and installs the app by itself. Sideloadly is there for people who prefer signing over USB from Windows or macOS.
Is it semi-untethered? What happens when I reboot?
It is semi-untethered. A reboot puts the device back into an unjailbroken state, but nothing is deleted. Open the Relaxin app, tap the jailbreak option, wait for the respring, and your packages and tweaks are live again.
How long does the signature last before the icon stops working?
Seven days on a free Apple ID, one year on a paid Apple Developer account. When it lapses, the icon greys out or refuses to open — re-sign the same IPA with the same tool and Apple ID and your jailbreak data survives untouched.
Will Relaxin break banking apps or Apple Pay?
RootHide ships with Relaxin specifically to hide the jailbreak from apps that check for it, and you choose which apps it applies to. It is effective but not guaranteed against every detection method. Apple Pay itself continues to work on a rootless jailbreak, though we would not use a jailbroken device as your only payment method.
Can I go back to stock iOS?
Yes, and without a restore. Use the remove-bootstrap option inside the app, delete the Relaxin icon, then reboot. Because the jailbreak is rootless, the system partition was never modified in the first place.
Is this the official Relaxin website?
No. This site is run by community members who write install guides and mirror the public release. We are not the Relaxin development team and we are not connected to Apple Inc. See the about page for who we are and how to reach us.
Is jailbreaking safe, and does it void my warranty?
Jailbreaking removes some of iOS's security boundaries, so only install tweaks from repositories you trust. Apple's position is that jailbreaking voids the warranty; in practice, removing the jailbreak and restoring the device returns it to a state where nothing is detectable. Do this on a device you own, and back it up first.
